Strength Based Approach
The Strength Based Approach focuses on a person’s strengths and abilities.


We will work with you to find out:
- what is happening in your life
- what matters to you
- who is important you
- what you are good at
- what you like and do not like
- what you need extra help with
- what you want to happen next

We will:
- talk to you and those that are important to you
- understand what support is working well for you
- look at what is happening in your community and around the city
- make a care plan together about the support you need

When we communicate with you, we will:
- explain things to you in a clear and easy way
- ask you how you would like us to contact you

If something is not working, we will work together to change it.
